Fees and Charges

When receiving treatment from us you generally will either be a private paying patient or injured and covered under the ACC scheme. Should you be referred to our clinic then please bring in any appropriate referral forms or ACC documentation. If you have sustained an injury then you can complete ACC paperwork here at Sportsmed before your consultation. Please allow time to do this.

Charges vary amongst the disciplines at Sportsmed. With ACC regulations recently changing there is now a surcharge for physiotherapy visits. Please call us should you require details as to charges for your treatment.

SportsMed consultation fees vary depending on the discipline providing treatment.  A co-payment may apply to ACC funded treatment. If you require treatment of an injury and have not completed an ACC claim please allow yourself time to do so prior to your appointment.  If you have had treatment funded by ACC elsewhere we will require details of the claim for our records.

Payment methods

Payment by EFTPOS, credit card (including American Express), or cash is expected at the time of consultation. Accounts outstanding at the end of the month incur an administration fee.

We would appreciate your paying at the time of each visit. We will accept EFTPOS, Visa and cash as methods for payment. All accounts will incur an administration fee of $5.
